Throughout our tenure serving clients across the Greater Kansas City area, we have found casework had a tendency to hold up a construction project. To help make the process smoother for our clients, we began building our own cabinets over a decade ago. Since then, our cabinet shop, MAC Cabinets, has grown from one table saw and a small warehouse to now being equipped with the latest technology and twenty full-time carpenters and designers.

FAQs
Do you build both residential and commercial cabinets?
Yes. We design, build, and install custom residential cabinetry and commercial architectural millwork throughout the Kansas City area.
For homeowners, we create fully custom kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, built-ins, and storage solutions using premium wood species and a variety of door styles. For commercial clients, we manufacture durable architectural casework using high-quality laminates, wood veneers, and commercial-grade materials designed for long-term performance.
How long does it take to build custom cabinets?
Our typical lead time for custom cabinetry is 4 to 6 weeks after final shop drawing approval and completed field measurements.
If you choose our in-house cabinet finishing services, please allow approximately two additional weeks. Project timelines may vary depending on material availability, but we’ll always communicate expected delivery dates throughout your project.
Do you install countertops with your cabinets?
Yes. We provide complete countertop solutions for residential and commercial projects.
We fabricate our own laminate and Thinscape countertops in-house for quality control and faster turnaround times. We also coordinate the fabrication and installation of quartz, granite, and solid surface countertops through trusted installation partners, allowing you to complete your entire project with one team.
Do you offer cabinet refacing or cabinet door replacement?
We do not offer traditional cabinet refacing. However, we do provide custom cabinet door and drawer front replacement.
If your existing cabinet boxes are structurally sound, we can build and install new custom doors and drawer fronts in the wood species, finish, and style of your choice, giving your kitchen or bathroom a completely updated appearance without replacing the entire cabinet system.
What custom woodworking services do you offer?
In addition to custom cabinets and countertops, we provide a wide range of custom woodworking and architectural millwork services.
Our experienced craftsmen build custom shelving, entertainment centers, built-in storage, reception desks, commercial fixtures, display units, office millwork, and other one-of-a-kind woodworking projects. If you have a custom design in mind, we can help bring it to life.
